At the moment I am using Avast 2014.9.0.2012 on my Windows 7 desktop and Avast 2014.9.0.2011 on my Windows XP desktop. I can create a recovery disk on the XP system but not on the Windows 7 system (the process fails soon after it is started). Until Avast address this problem, should an emergency occur, is it OK to use a disk created on the XP system to boot the Windows 7 system?
