Ubuntu 12.04. Key give a error of Invalid Argument

The version enabled for linux-ubuntu is the Free. So I asked for a key registering. They have sent to me one key ... rather a pair and in both when I try to execute he asks me for the key and to a few seconds it gives me an error "An error occured in avast engine: Argumento inválido"
So I cannot use avast from ubuntu 12.04 to scan windows
