Avast drive my CPU to 100% when im gaming

Hallo people,

Frist you guys make one of the best Virus scan on the planet!

But also the best have same problems...

When i try to game(World of Warcraft or Battfield 4) my avast will go run my CPU to 100% and stay at 100% and alsmost 4 GB of ram uses, when i set the shields off, he will go down slow back to normal.

Is it a Bug ? Or Settings of Avast?

CPU: i7 975 Extreem(not overclock)
Mem: 24 GB
Windows 7 64 bit ultimate updated

This is why I exclude WoW or any other game folder from the file system shields to prevent avast reading all the same files that are being called while playing a game.
