Pop-up blocker needed

Hi Helpers

I have just bought "Avast Internet Security".

Does it include a pop-up blocker? Apparently I do not think so since I get as much advertisements just like before installing it.

My question is: if Avast Internet Security does have a pop-up blocker function, how can I set it up?
OR: if it doesn't, what should I use insead of it, and where can I download it from?

I am not a computer genius, as you may have noticed. Thank you very much for your help, you can reply in English, French or in Hungarian.

Hello 

Avast does not have a pop-up blocker.   You can get tools like Adblock or ADblock+ for your browser.

Which browser do you use?

Look for " extensions" in the Firefox tools menu.  You can install adblockers from there.

I recommend that you also install Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon.

You should also use Firefox > Tools > Options > Content to check that it is ticked to "Block pop-up windows".
