dont work on mavericks?

just installed mavericks. it told me avast is incompatible. :(

bummer. I like avast too. now I have to go back to clamXav?

Hello,
Avast version 8.0 is fully compatible with Maverics. What is yours current version? In case of any troubles you can uninstall the Avast and install it again.

I have 8.0. mavericks said it was incompatible, and moved the preference plugin. so now I cant open the preferences. but you say it is compatible?
