Casn anyone provide avast widget

I have windows 8.1 installed on my new PC & mis avast gadget. I have installed gadget 8 pack to reclaim almost all gadgets except avast. Can anyone provide it?

There is no gadget anymore as far as I'm aware.

Microsoft deemed the sidebar gadgets as insecure and instructed all users to disable it as they were no longer supporting it so there was not much point in avast keeping the gadget in the new versions.

Its still available, at least it shown as an option on my windows 7 machine when I installed through custom install but I dont use widgets so its one of the things I deselected.

I have it on both of my Windows 7 computers but not on this one, Windows 8.1.  I do miss seeing it.

Interesting! I never noticed it when doing a custom install on my win7 system, maybe if the sidebar is disabled it's not even offered :-\
