script error
« on: June 28, 2005, 01:47:11 AM »
my avast gives me a script error when I do a full system scan. The checklist seems to do it.

When I check the "dont show this next time" the error pops up.
line: 227
char: 26
error: object doesnt support this
code: 0
mk:@MSITStore:C:\Program%20Files\Alwil%20Software\Avast4

ok I did change the avast4.ini to checklist=1 and its gone, BUT, why did it do that ?
It never does that.
Also my outlook\exchange wont fire up. Do I need internet mail too ? I'm using outlook express.
Thanks for your help

Well, I rather meant to install the mentioned Microsoft update, not to change the ini file - that's where the problem is.

No, you don't need Outlook/Exchange for Outlook Express, it is protected by the Internet Mail provider.

yes thanks, i did that.
It seems if avast screws up its because of a problem with my computer !
I did my back-up from when my computer "worked" and reinstaled avast, no more problems.
thanks for your help.
