Also delete Mozilla folder and try to install Firefox again and install add-ons one by one to test which one is the culprit.
C:/Users/YourName/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla

I can't find C:/Users/YourName/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla so I'm not going to install it again.  I'll keep using IE11, Opera and Palemoon.

So instead of handling the problem your gonna ignore it? If IE gets this way you cant just uninstall it as its part of the OS so that wont work like it did for firefox.

If you want to solve the problem on your own, why bother to post it here ???
Im with bob on this one why bother posting about it.

It's not help, it's attention that appears to be sought here.

Like again is happening  in this thread.
And haven't we been here before.
Good advice dealt out thrice,
and this is exactly what -midnight will not follow up.
Think she is afraid of going to the virus and worms section.  :D
Now, dear -midnight, let us assume the possibility
that this might be  a multi-browser problem, that was not tackled
because of you being stubborn again and not visiting "the computer problems doctor"?
In that case  you may  have an infested comp.
Please ask the opinion of  the qualified removal expert to get his opinion?
Or are you afraid of essexboy ? ::)

There are actually people on this forum who need help and are willing to follow directions.
These kind of posts from folks who don't intend to follow instructions are preventing help from
reaching those that deserve it.  :(

I beg your pardon but it's not "attention that appears to be found here."

I reinstalled Firefox with a lot less add-ons.

But you still aren't willing to follow the original advice offered.
You are also still wasting our time by continuing to post about things that we really can't do anything about.

Hi -midnight,

But wouldn't it be groovy to have your computer checked to be absolutely free of hick-ups and malcode
by a qualified removal expert just for Valentine.
Then you would still have 2 days to hand him the logs and follow the cleansing routine.
