Like again is happening  in this thread.
And haven't we been here before.
Good advice dealt out thrice,
and this is exactly what -midnight will not follow up.
Think she is afraid of going to the virus and worms section.  :D
Now, dear -midnight, let us assume the possibility
that this might be  a multi-browser problem, that was not tackled
because of you being stubborn again and not visiting "the computer problems doctor"?
In that case  you may  have an infested comp.
Please ask the opinion of  the qualified removal expert to get his opinion?
Or are you afraid of essexboy ? ::)

My neighbor who is an IT Tech just checked my computer and I don't have a virus.
Still not following directions, still posting about things that don't interest us and,
still stealing time from those who need help.  :( :( :(
When are you going to stop ???

Hi -midnight,

But wouldn't it be groovy to have your computer checked to be absolutely free of hick-ups and malcode
by a qualified removal expert just for Valentine.
Then you would still have 2 days to hand him the logs and follow the cleansing routine.

Wish I would get one cent for every IT Tech that doesn't know what he is doing. I would be a multi-miljonair in one day.

Yea, Eddy,

More computers were ruined by helpful neighbors and IT admins than were secured.
Where did I hear that story before?
An acquainted n00b is never far away.  ;D

Hi -midnight,

He must be a lucky man then, the same help is offered here for free.
I do this all the time in the virus and worms section here,
checking on suspicious websites to check and  help avast! detection.
Al of this  just for "the good of my soul " and because this is my main pastime and
one of my major passions.

I posted because the popups were annoying.
Which would instinctively mean you were looking for help ( if not you were just seeking attention ) but refusing to comply with the suggestions offered means you were just totally wasting out time for your own selfish amusment.

Deal with your neighbour in future as we really cant be bothered.

No, I was just wondering why I kept getting the popups.  I wasn't seeking attention nor was I trying to waste anyone's time for my own selfish amusement.

Their are plenty of other browsers I can use besides IE.
so what.... who cares what browser you use

why do we need to know what problems you have?
if you want help, follow the advice/suggestions given.....if not, keep it to yourselfe

It's not help, it's attention that appears to be sought here.
yea...i think you are right..... she need to get a Facebook account

I have a Facebook account.

Most people post here asking for help or advice, if your not looking for either then your practically calling out wolf when there isnt one.
