some question I hope someone could teach and explain

Hi, I would like to ask some question hope you guys won't mind, its quite a long list though.

1) if one of the devices connected to the network is infected would the rest of the devices be infected too?

2) if the devices are not the the same type (eg. PS,computer, Android phone,tablet,iphone etc.) will they infect each other?

3) can infected computer infect all the other computer immediately when they connect to the same network?

4) does all router allows computer to access each other files?

5) how likely is it to be infected through network (home/private)?

6) can SMS actually infect your phone?

7) is it true that anti virus software make your system more vulnerable? Heard some people said this is the reason they don't install anti virus software ( though I don't quite believe this is true)

1) yes it is possible, depends on protection , and network shares/policy

2) Yes, it happens.

3) Yes that could happen.

4) Again, depends on router and settings.

5) Very if you do not take precautions.

6)It has happened.

7) No, and you certainly don't want any friends that behave that way, they are very stupid.
