Endpoint, update and payment issues

Hi there

I recently upgraded Avast (this morning ISE-08-001-12-AR  Order  ID: 17907671828) . I already had the free avast running. But when I tried to add the license I get a message "unable to insert the license file. The license is not valid for this product.

Also when I tried to scan it says "there are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper "

In status it says I am unprotected, but when I press start, it opens up the admin run dialogue box. I press ok, the box closes but nothing happens

Im using Dell studio xps with  Window 7 Any suggestions

You have a license for Endpoint and tried to add that to Avast Free edition?

If you have a business license, you need to download and install the correct product.

The free version must  be removed first.

Hi there

No I upgrade from free to paid avast and down loaded a licence

Im not using Endnote programme but rather when I try to start a scan with Avast I get the following  avast pop up "there are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper ".

Is th AV you used before avast removed.....using vendors removal tool to clear all files?    http://www.avast.com/en-us/faq.php?article=AVKB11#artTitle

Remove your avast according to instructions here   http://www.avast.com/en-us/uninstall-utility

Download and install your version    http://www.avast.com/en-us/download-software

Insert license   http://www.avast.com/en-us/faq.php?article=AVKB8#artTitle

Yeah that's resolved.  Many thanks for the prompt and clear advise folks.
