I tried installing Avast and it will not run, "This application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log of use the command line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail"
I have a copy of the start log.
This is the free copy of the 2014 Avast. I also am told by the computer that I cannot uninstall it. I would like to uninstall it.
