Free from virus E-Mail message
« on: November 20, 2013, 04:06:58 PM »
Hi.  I just updated to the 2014.9.0.2008 version and suddenly I'm getting this message in my e-mails:

---
This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! Antivirus protection is active.
http://www.avast.com

This never happened before the update.  How can I remove this?

I recently installed Avast and some receipents are spam filters are having issues with this message in the emails sent. I have Avast 2014.9.0.2013 installed on my system. I followed the instructions and the message is still being inserted in my outgoing emails. After changing the setting I even rebooted my pc and it is still being inserted.

Any ideas.

not sure if this changes anything but you may try avast repair

controlpanel > ad/remove programs > avast > uninstall/change > repair option....wait a minute and reboot

any change?
