avast! fw & windows fw

i have paid version 2014.0.2013 with its firewall activated.

i noticed on my win7 machine the Windows firewall was turned on also.

generally speaking, i don't need the Windows firewall turned on when the avast! firewall is on, yes?

Yes you should turn off the Windows Firewall.
