Windows 8.1 - cannot update definitions
« on: March 01, 2014, 08:22:52 PM »
Okay, I apparently have the latest update but avast! says it cannot  cannot download the latest update. I got a scary popup saying avast! could not update.

Currently Steam is installing Assassin's Creed IV, but when that is done, I will repair the install. What else I am supposed to do?

(This is a brand new computer, I just installed avast! a couple hours ago)

I have the latest, so I am not sure why it is trying to update at all though...

It auto updates every four hours :)   The last streaming update was at 1922 (7 minutes ago) so you are covered
