Refund Status?!
« on: March 01, 2014, 09:19:55 PM »
Can anybody at Avast explain to me why I requested a refund for two Avast products (Avast Premier and "Grime Fighters")
almost a month ago, on 08Feb2014 and NO refund has been processed yet??? Not to mention...I went through absurd process of being required to submit a "ticket" on TWO different occasions to request a refund because Avast REFUSES to process refund requests through an actual person at their telephonic "customer support" dept.

What kind of business are you people running??? In the 32 years I have been alive no vendor/business has EVER taken this long to prcoess a duly requetsed refund, nor has that business REFUSED to process refund requests telephonically!

Sorry for your experience. Will warn the moderators.

Anyway, they do not manage refunds (or help support) telephonically as avast has 200+ million users, although most of them free ones, and it won't be possible to offer phone support for such requests.
The best things in life are free.

Why are you not satisfied?
For GrimeFighter I can understand it because it really is crap.
But avast (premier) is working very well.

Yes, I agree with Eddy. In Free version is extremely light weight. Unless I am trying really hard to have my Virtual Machine infected. I find it difficult to catch anything.

Has Avast! been disabled in any sort of way? Services not running? Shields not working? If you are having issue with detection report them Here.

Are you experiencing Non-Booting windows issue? Similar to this case?

Need I say anymore???
Yes, it would help if you were to explain why you are unsatisfied.

Just as a note: Most people here, volunteer to help. Like me, Eddy , and the removers. Please don't get upset with us.
