I just did a 'system restore' and had to re download RejZoRs  Defragmentor .  Now, when I click on it, it just appears on the screen for an instant and then disappears. Whazzzup? I really liked it!

Are you sure that you have contig.exe file in the same folder of Power Defragmentor?

I'm doing everything exactly like I did it before, when it worked.

I don't have the contig.exe file in the same folder (or on my HDD for that matter) and no problems.

I thought Power DEfragmenter was stand alone.

I've tried over and over and over and I can't get it to do anything but flash for an instant.

Isn't Power Defragmentor just a GUI for the contig.exe?

Power Defragmenter WAS stand-alone app,but someday Sysinternals guys contact me that they don't allow bundling their apps in my GUI. So i split core from GUI (although they liked the GUI idea itself). Current form is not as good as before, because people will use "outdated" contig.exe, while i always bundled the latest one. But thats the way how cookie crumbles ;)

Perhaps a link in the PowerDefragmenter GUI to Sysinternals so people can check for updates in contig.exe?

As you can see, things are different...

Perhaps a link in the PowerDefragmenter GUI to Sysinternals so people can check for updates in contig.exe?
Seems a good idea...
