Should Avast really get involved in Political Opinions?

I don't think so, they should stick to their core business AV protection, unless this disinformation is somehow damaging and "and causing harm" as is mentioned in the underlying Subject Headline.

Well, the "Viewpoint" articles are from guest-bloggers, so it's not from Avast.

Well, the "Viewpoint" articles are from guest-bloggers, so it's not from Avast.

Surely these guest blogger scripts are reviewed for content and correctness.  After all we wouldn't want to be associated with disinformation (excuse the terrible pun) causing harm.

On the causing harm theme, if that harm is not computer security related then this is straying into the political arena.  What is that great maxim for forum topics no politics or religion, etc. etc. as there will never be general consensus.
