To prevent future infections of spyware it might be advisable to download spywareblaster from Javacool. link: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/spywareblaster.html

You might want to use another browser like Firefox which is a bit more secure, link:
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/phoenixmoz.html

or Opera, link:

The Trojan make no checks to see if you use a dial-up connection or not before infecting you, it is purely a process of infect as many systems as it can and some of those will be dial-up users.

There is also the possibility that once infected (but not affected) your system could then be used to infect others and some of those may be dial-up users.
