WinPatrol popped up this am and showed Avast Emergency Update so as always I accepted it. I clicked on MalwareBytes, got an error message and IE11 wouldn't open. I restarted my computer and was able to run MalwareBytes, which didn't find anything and I was able to open IE. Could the emergency update caused these problems?
