Your signature says IE 10, you might need IE11 on win7 for the new AOS changes to work :-\

You can check in the browser add ons to see if browser protection is listed there or not.

The new AOS icon sits near the white home icon at the top right of the browser, it's not on a separate toolbar anymore.

Also make sure the Enhanced Browser Protection is disabled for AOS to work.

The new AOS icon sits near the white home icon at the top right of the browser:it is not there.
Browser cleanup say:not all browseradd-ons are re-installed .

thanks

Next step is to go the Programs and Features and click to uninstall avast, on the popup screen choose change and check if you have Browser Protection ( AOS ) ticked or not.

As I mentioned in my first reply you might have to update your IE browser, the current version for win7 an 8 is IE11.

I cant think of anything else that might be causing AOS to not show up for you, do you have any other add-ons that might be conflicting?

Gercia....

Try this... right click on a space in the address bar area and untick "Show tabs on a separate row". Is the AOS icon now there beside the Home icon? If yes, right click again and tick the "Show tabs" box and the address bar will shrink and the icon be visible. Problem with this is that the procedure needs be done each time you start IE11. However, the icon actually may be there without doing this, just hidden partially under the address bar. If the above showed the icon, next time you run IE11, don't do the procedure. Mouse over the area immediately next to the address bar. It may just turn green, indicating that the icon is there but hidden. If so, simply click on that oh so small area beside the address bar will open the AOS screen.
