Windows live mail quit working after last avast update v. 2014.9.0.2013

I try to search forum but search does not show me this problem.
I have to disable avast shields now to use my windows live mail client  Mail shield shows a different secure port 963 for IMAP.
My Gmail uses port 965 for the port. I have tried to change the port in mail shield but it just changes back to the same incorrect one.

I saw there was a video about this. I did a search on google and was able to find this but The search on this forum can't find this.
Maybe a few less emoticons and some better search engine categories could help.

Anybody got a link to the solutions to the email client problems?  Thanks

googling it.... info say Gmail IMAP port is 993

Try updating to the current avast version 2014.9.0.2016
