Avast! Free Blocks Social Media in Internet Explorer

So I have recently upgraded my PC and am now on Windows 8, I am also running IE 11 and cannot see any social media plug-ins and as I am trying to make sites with these plug-ins running, I need to be able to see if they are working. I can get them in Firefox, Chrome and Safari but I want to be sure it is working in IE, I found the settings in Firefox and Chrome to allow them but cannot find these options in IE.

In IE disable "enhanced protection mode".

IE>Tools (sprocket)>internet options>advanced>scroll down to and untick the box.
