As I said earlier in the thread, during repair or uninstalling via the CPanel, it gets near the end and locks up during the execution of "VisthAux.exe"

Any ideas? Thanks again for attempting to help me sort this. Really want to use avast, it just seems hell-bent on not working.

Ok got the logs, but I don't feel exactly safe posting them publicly. Not trying to be difficult, I dunno. I'm just a bit paranoid and weary I guess. Is this absolutely needed?

Nothing personal, I just don't care to have my info out in the open like that. Thanks so much for all the help, everyone. Any fixes happen, let me know. I'll try the beta and report back.

Did you clean install the Beta (i.e. removed all of Avast ) ?

If you are running the latest MBAM could you temporarily uninstall it and see if the problem continues

Just tried that with no luck either.  :-\
