hi, not sure if / what need to know.  have had some major hack problems.

right now am looking at a icon on my firefox for:  overall rating / cast your vote  (site rating?).
how do i turn the thing off.  how do i uninstall it.

Disable...Browser GUI>Tools/Add-Ons/Extensions>untick/disable/remove  :)

Or

Uninstall...Control Panel>Uninstall a Program>double click "avast">click "change">untick "browser protection">reboot  :)
