Blue Sandbox Border around chrome.
« on: April 13, 2014, 01:48:06 AM »
After re-installing google chrome, a blue border with a small tab labled "avast! Sandbox" appeared. Whatever it is, it's negativly effecting chrome. Chrome has stopped outputing any sound (e.g. no sound on youtube videos), downloads won't work properly, and it wont save my history among other problems. This has resulted in frustration. Someone please help me get rid of this satan-spawn of a border. I just want my chrome back.

Right click the Chrome icon that you use to open Chrome and click 'Always run outside Sandbox'. If you're using Windows 8 and the icon is only in the start menu, right click it and choose 'open file location' then in the folder that opens right click the Chrome icon and click 'always run outside sandbox'. Works for me with Firefox to disable sandbox.

There is no run outside of sandbox option in both the start menu shortcut and actual application.

I am using windows 7.
