I would like a stand alone product to run along side Avast Free. Would any of the following cause conflict? And which would you advise?

Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool
MalwareBytes Free
ESET Rogue Application Remover

Thanks

Malwarebytes free or premium works well with avast.

Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool / ESET Rogue Application Remover are tools you download and use when you have a infection
they are not meant to be used as regular scanners. Most of these tools dont have a update function so you download latest version when needed

Malwarebytes is highly recomended
another highly recomended tool is MCShield  www.mcshield.net   it is a install and forget tool   ;)

this forum have a malware removal team that will help you remove infections for free   ;)     http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0

not as good as Malwarebytes
if you visit any malware removal help forum you will see that Malwarebytes is usually the first tool they run before they start with diagnostic tools
