proxy settings changing

Dear Avast forum,

I am running:-

Program Version 2014.9.0.2016
Defns 140419-0
 

I have developed a problem,  in the internet settings the proxy server keeps getting checked. I don’t use any proxy so google chrome cannot access the internet. By removing the check on proxy server I can use google chrome again.

I recognised the problem with the registry internet settings and deleted the two keys as in step 2 of the solution. Proxy enable was already 0.

It is working so far.

Can I have some AVAST advice to prevent this from happening again?
