Avast is acting up on Steam files
« on: April 19, 2014, 03:59:42 PM »
At random times Avast would have a pop up saying they blocked a malware, it would look like this:(i dont have a pic, ill update it once it pop ups again)

Object: http://
Infection URL:Mal
Process: Somewhere within the Program files(x86)and Steam..

the first time it happened i submitted it for fake alert, and then another came it(it was different) i submitted that one to, it hasnt came back up yet so..
It isnt blocking me from doing anything with steam, its just annoying seeing it pop up..

thanks

Right click the Avast! Icon and select "Show Last Popup. Should allow yu to see the last popup. Hopefully it'll be the virus one.

please go Here and attach OTL, Malwarebytes & aswMBR.

This is if you want a virus check.

Can you attach requested logs to check for malware? As you've mentioned you will. Please upload a screenshot when possible. Thanks
