What can I do, my antivirus blocks Internet :'(

is this a new avast install?

what avast version do you have   free / pro / Internet security

do you have any other security programs installed....if so what?

did you remove your previous used AV according to that vendors uninstall instructions   http://www.avast.com/en-za/faq.php?article=AVKB11#artTitle

OK within the firewall remove all references to Avast
Then when asked by the firewall allow Avast

we do not know what firewall you have.....
delete all avast rules in your firewall, reboot computer and create new rules when firewall ask

we do not know what firewall you have.....
delete all avast rules in your firewall, reboot computer and create new rules when firewall ask

OK that is windows firewall

Download Avast Uninstall Utility to your Desktop.
Download the correct version of Avast 
Avast Free
Avast Pro
Avast Internet Security
Avast Premier
Disconnect from the net
Uninstall Avast via control panel

  • Run the uninstall tool and accept the reboot to safe mode
  • Once complete reboot your system
  • Reinstall Avast
