Bug: untick scan when writing files option does not stay unticked

Did a clean install of latest version free (uninstall old, safe mode run the cleaner)
Installed new.

All fine except I can not untick the scan when writing files option in the file shield. I untick it, then
next time i go that option, or reboot, it is ticked again. How can one disable scanning while writing?

do you click the OK button at lower right?
