Update Problems, AGAIN!!!!

hello guys,
even i am not able to update my program version. Even after clicking on update, i am not able to update, it just doesnt do anything.
any help regarding this would me much appreciated

Today, AIS will not update the VPS on either of my machines.

On first manual try, the server was
Download s9169098 AVAST9 Server
http://s9169098.ivps9x.u.avast.com/ivps9x

On second manual try, the server was
Download g5335108 AVAST9 Server
http://g5335108.ivps9x.u.avast.com/ivps9x

Engine and definitions: Already up to date (current version 140428-01) is the message.

Sure, still on 140428-01 and not worried.
Streaming updates continuously. Last one few minutes ago.

Has anyone received VPS 29.4.2014 - 140429-0 which has supposedly been available for hours now?  Or, did Avast pull this update?

I am receiving the streaming updates.

I am still with VPS 140428-01, but I got streams for 2900, 2901, 2902 so no worries either. Tomorrow is another day

still not updating, I"m stuck with VPS 140428-1. I know FOR A FACT that a newer VPS is available, yet Avast refuses to update.
This is really starting to get annoying.

If their is a newer VPS available I haven't gotten it.  Mine is the same as yours.

no, 140428-1 is not the latest. just dload vpsupd.exe and see for yourself.

So if I don't download the update manually will it eventually update?  Because it seems like lots of users have this issue.

It may be a week before it starts updating again, I've suffered this twice in the last month. Last time was on apr 21 and it lasted until yesterday, when avast updated normally again, twice. But, today, again it won't update...

The last VPS is 140428-1, that was yesterday.
It's only been 24 hrs and streaming updates are continuous.
No Problem, eventually Avast will update, however you already have latest updates via "Streaming Updates".

As long as streaming updates work, it doesn't matter whether auto-updates work.
Is it correct?
