License keys, keygens, or cracks will always be released - and whoever thinks otherwise is naive. That's a fact. You may try to make it harder, but the question is how much effort is worth it. Most protection measures bother legal users more than the unauthorized ones - besides, it takes time to implement (and there's always risk of bugs that will prevent even legal users from using the program). So, it's usually not worth to try to implement some "crackproof" protection.
We are "monitoring" the keygens and leaked keys for avast! to some extent, and try to blacklist them from time to time, but it doesn't have such a high priority as you may expect. After all, we are offering a free version of avast!, all our products can be installed as trials... it's better to allow more people to get familiar with avast! (without obstacles) than implement restrictions.
