We have a company that uses a Proxy Server and Avast is failing to update. They receive the error indicated in the Subject line. Any help is appreciated.

Setup the proxy correctly so Avast has access.
Make sure it is not a firewall that is blocking things.

Proxy is setup correctly for Windows. Where is the area in Avast where I have to setup the Proxy settings?

Right click the 'a' blue icon > Program settings > Update (Basic) > Details > Proxy
