Installer cannot open SFX archive

Hi all, wonder anyone can provide help for the error that i facing while installing the avast.
Issue start by my installed avast service was being turn off and unable to be turn on.
Hence i proceed to re-install avast.
But while i click on the setup file and it give me "The install cannot open the SFX archive" message. (code 0x3ee)
Anyone know how can i fix it?
Avast is the only anti-virus i have in my pc.

1. Download avast! Free Antivirus: http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup.exe
2. Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed avast! versions..!!)
3. Reinstall avast! with the downloaded installer from point 1.
4. Reboot.
