Mozilla Firefox 1.0.5 released! (13.7.2005)

Here is the new release of well known browser Mozilla Firefox. This time in version 1.0.5 with few bugs fixed and some security issues patched.

I think the firefox auto updater works in a similar way to avast program updates, not everyone gets notified at the same time to spread the server load.

Can you imagine 25 million plus people downloading the 4.7MB update?

Could be -- but even the "Check now" tool didn't turn up anything for me, and I had to use RejZoR's link.

At least avast will let you do a manual check now, even if the auto-update wouldn't have gotten around to you for a few more days.
