File Reputation Pop-Up - Really annoying
« on: May 15, 2014, 08:01:47 PM »
Avast keeps showing me Low File Reputation pop-ups whenever I launch the launcher for Star Citizen, a game in early development. It started only about a month or two ago, but I haven't been able to find a way to do anything about it.

Is there a way to add the launcher/game to a list of exceptions and prevent it from bothering me, or do I just have to turn it off until the game becomes more recognized?

If it's in early development then avast will pop-up an alert since the file(s) are unknown.
You can make the proper exclusion(s).

Do this only if you know the file(s) are safe.
GUI>Settings>Antivirus>Exclusions>make the exclusion(s).

I see. I'll add it to the exclusions because I do trust it. Thanks for the help!  :D
