Avast blocking Microsoft Works

Today when I tried to log into my Microsoft Works It was blocked and the EXE file blocked.
Can anyone tell me why? I've been running this program   for years with out a problem and just logged in yesterday. Today when I clicked on the shortcut it could not find the program. :'(

Did you get an avast pop-up?
Need more information...
OS?
Other security software?

What little information you gave it's difficult to give you any assistance.

I suspect that this is a very old copy of MS Works and the executable isn't on the avast cloud database (not in common use).

I had similar blocking of old MS Office, Word and Excel executables.

You say you can't find it, was it moved to the virus chest ?
