Who uses Dr Delete?
« on: July 17, 2005, 05:07:35 PM »
Hi ye all,

Sometimes it is difficult to kill miscreant processes or delete certain files, and if so to do it in a safe way. There is a small program for it Dr Delete, can be found here: http://www.docsdownloads.com/Tier1/dr-delete.htm It was a tool used in a anti-malware forum. Anyone of us know it or has experience with it.

greets,

polonus

There are another tools that can help: MoveOnBoot that allows move, delete and so on. Free. Just Google to download links.
By the way, the access to Dr. Delete is not that easy...  :P
I found here: http://theabsolute.net/sware/files/deletedr.exe

HiJackThis also enables deleting a file on reboot, Config...> Misc Tools.
Don't forget RejZoR's AEC, 'Advanced File Remover.'

You probably already have these tools so you shouldn't need another program just to do this.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

Yeah,i improved my Advanced File Remover quiet a bit and it appears to be very effective and easy to use. I got few reports that they managed to remove parasites with single "click". There was especially high rate of success on dll based malware (mainly BHO crap and other plugin like malware). Ofcourse it's not perfect as any other program...
