My Avast! Free registration expires in 30 days, and I thought I'd just go ahead and renew now to get that out of the way. However, the registration button in Avast just pops a "loading" box that closes after 15 seconds. Further, the registration code sent to me via email doesn't work.
I received a code with a 19-character string, a dash, then an 8-character string ( XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX ). However, Avast itself is asking for a set of three 6-character strings ( XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX ), so what I've received doesn't even fit.
The "how to" page (
http://www.avast.com/en-us/faq.php?article=AVKB9 ) shows the entry field being able to accept the type of key that I received, so I'm really not sure what I'm supposed to be doing here.
