Just saying tried it, no change doesn't help much. We need to know what you did, e.g. what the settings were, etc. this shows us that you understand what we said and how you tried to follow it.
If the avast icon was previously displayed ?
Then a reboot may resolve it, but that isn't certain. The other conditions in note 1 & 2 need to know if the icon isn't hidden by the windows taskbar, etc.
