SOA Console Website Host crash

I'm just getting started with Avast SOA. I installed it on Windows 8.1, fired up the console, and the browser couldn't connect to the server. I went into Windows Services and saw that the avast Website Host service was not started. When I attempted to start, it failed. The Windows Event log shows the following:
