I had windows security center get disabled then avast turn off then an automatic reboot. Could a virus or Trojan have disabled avast then installed?

Start a new topic in "viruses and worms" and post your logs there.

Sorry you're having troubles.  Look to the upper right-hand corner when you get to the Virus and Worms section and press the button for NEW TOPIC.  That is what Asyn is telling you.  Post your issue separately from the OP (original poster) Consilience, as helping more than person with a similar or same problem can become very confusing.  And any fixes for similar issues may or may not work or be the same ones for different systems, even if they have the same operating system.

Every case of malware issues is different in one aspect or respect or other.  Similar, yes.  Exactly the same, no, or, it is very rare when it does happen.

Use this link to run diagnostic programs and attach the resulting logs in your new topic:  https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0

BTW, a PUP is a Possibly Unwanted Program.
