Virus Chest
« on: October 18, 2005, 06:17:02 PM »
I just downloaded avast 4.6 home edition yesterday.  (Am a novice computer user) It detected a fiew Trojan horses and suggested putting them in the "Chest".  I did that...no problem.  Now, what do I do with the items in the chest?  Do I just leave them there...delete them...what?  Just curious.... ::)

If you've searched the board you should have found the answer...
Let the file there for one or two weeks, update avast, right click the file and scan it again.
Confirm it was not a false positive and then, making sure your system is working without it, delete it  8)
