If the Standard Shield is scanning the downloaded files - does it mean that you have "Scanning created/modified files" or "Scanning files on open" turned on?

yes igor,i have it set to scan created/modified files-all files set. avast just did not pick up kazaa lite ver. 2.4.1,installed 2.4.3 and all is well p2p scanner is now scanning the downloads.
