[/img]I installed the free version, registered and started the scan and twice the scan stops at svc:wlidsvc>c:\programfiles\commonfiles\...\wlidsvce.exe

What happens if you disable the Windows Live ID before the scan?

Is/was there other anti-malware software on your system?
If so which one(s) and how did you remove them?
What OS/SP do you have?
