Directly related to this post: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=120990.0, either the AEA password has been forgotten, changed or something has been corrupted so it now needs to be reset.

I followed the directions given in the blog: http://blog.avast.com/2014/04/03/how-to-reset-your-avast-administration-console-password/

which is also given in the post above. Here is where the issue occurs. Upon attempt to change the password we receive the following errors:

Not exactly sure if I am doing something wrong or if something deeper is the issue.

Did you run the command prompt with elevated privileges? i.e. Run As > Administrator?
