[SOLVED] Deep Freeze Client Install False Positive
« on: July 17, 2014, 03:32:28 AM »
I was trying to install the Deep Freeze Client onto a lab of computers today via Faronics Core Console and I noticed that the installer file was being caught by Avast. I put in a global exception and the file is no longer being deleted, but Faronics Core Console must change the file name when it deploys it to computers because the false positive detection is making Core Console crash. I submitted a false positive report today. Anyone have any idea what the turn around time is on false positive reports or how I can make an exception to work around this? This problem has ground my summer lab re imaging efforts to a halt.

Thanks.

My false positive submission was addressed in less than 24 hours. Thanks!
