Can not go online on my desktop when using secure line

I tried this afternoon ( CENTRAL EUROPE TIME) to go online using secure line .  I could not go online after the connection was made. I updated AVAST Premier this morning and as usual and always, I should restart my Desk top PC a few times before the controlpanel found my Avast premier.

I  have not yet seen the same problem on my laptop, there I can easyly go online after the connection has been made. I have not on my LAPTOP updated the AVAST premier since the last update came out a few weeks ago. ( when I am talking about update, I mean the program itsself and not the virus signatures/definitions)
