Bringing Unmanaged Clients To the Server?
« on: July 17, 2014, 10:40:19 PM »
My district has Endpoint Protection Suite already installed on several teacher machines in several locations.  Is there a way to point them to our newly-installed Enterprise Administration Console or do I need to reinstall?  We aren't using ActiveDirectory and IP detection seems to be failing in the EAC automagic detection.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try creating a stand alone installer package from the management console and just install it right over the top of the existing clients.

Right, but at that point that's a reinstall, and that's not what I'm looking for.  I'm looking for a way to just type in the IP of the EAC (so the end user can do it vs me track all the machines down) and the client becomes managed.

Looks like the mirrors are in C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast Business\Setup\setup.ini and the EAS IP is in C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\avast5.ini
